Bernice “Bernie” Mary Luedecke, age 90, passed away June 4, 2016 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on May 9, 1926 in Falls City, TX to Ignatz & Florence Skrobarczyk. She married Elroy Luedecke on Sept. 16, 1950 and they had two sons, Ronald & Gregory Luedecke.
During her days here with us she touched many lives. She was loved deeply by family and friends who she gave her family a lifetime of love and memories. Bernie loved the outdoors and she enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening. She was an avid cactus collector also well as an excellent cook and homemaker. Bernie was a caring and loving wife, mother and friend who will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m., Monday, June 13, 2016 with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at St. Helena’s Catholic Church, 14714 Edgemont, San Antonio, TX 78247. Interment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions made be to the San Antonio Humane Society. Bernice will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten.
