

Bernice Hopkins Berry, 65 of Corpus Christi, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in Fort Worth, TX with her family by her side. Born June 22, 1951 in San Antonio, TX, she was the daughter of the late Thomas M. Hopkins and Sylvia T. Husak.
Bernice worked for Homeland Security and U.S. Border Protection in Corpus Christi, from 1984 to September 30, 2016 when she retired after 40 years of service to the U.S. Government.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise Davis of Fort Worth, TX., brother Tommy Hopkins (Elizabeth) of Los Lunas, NM, sister Linda Chandler (James) of Richmond, VA, and brother John Hopkins (Amy) of San Antonio, TX. and grandchildren Dylan Davis and Olivia Zenk, and nieces Stephanie Williams, Kerry Boulware and Anna Hopkins, nephews Brandon Hopkins and Russell Mathis, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX with Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Garden of Hope.
