My thoughts and prayers are you. Jan, I will always remember the first time I met your mother and know you do. In my mind she will remain a strong woman filled with many facets including abundant love and unwavering strength. She has left you with an inner core filled with her knowledge, strength, caring and love. I wish you and your family peace.

Jan, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Words can never truly express the love that you & your mother shared, but you will always have the memories,,,

You and Pa brought me and my mom into your family almost 29 years ago. For many years, you both helped me carve pumpkins, dye Easter eggs, and we spent many Christmas mornings around the same lovely tree, the one with the hidden bird that I could never seem to find! I cherish all our nights going to Bingo, all the early morning breakfasts filled with eggs, grits and stories. You never could stand for a fraction of my belly to leave slightly hungry. I always somehow made room for cake and ice cream! 

I will never forget your generosity and open heart. You identified us all by our strengths and never once made me feel anything other than on top of the world. You told me once that there was "always more fish in the sea" and you were absolutely right and I'm so glad that you "approved". You sure knew how to make us laugh and put a smile on my face. Every time I think of you, I will do exactly that... 

I am a better person for having known you. I love you... Bah-gone, Ma-gran, Grandma...

Bill, Jan, Angie, and other family and friends: My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Bernice was a delight, and I'll always remember the mischievious grin and twinkle in her eyes, how much she loved playing the slots, her giving nature, and her delicious cooking (esp. her chicken and dumplings). She is with the angles now, surrounded by the loved ones who have passed before her.

Jan, I am so sorry for your loss.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Jan is such a kind and caring person that she must be a reflexion of her mom. I am sorry for your loss and hope you find strength with time.

We are so sorry for your loss.  Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.

Bill, I am a lucky person to have gotten to know and love you and Grandma.  Grandma always extended her love to so many people. She is at peace now and will be watching over all her extended family members.. 
Angie and Jan, I know it is hard without your mom but just know she is still here with us in our hearts. I will cherish all our memories.

Jan, I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom.  I didn't know her, but I can only imagine what a wonderful person she was just by knowing you.  Treasure and remember all the wonderful moments you had as a child and through the years.  She is now looking down from above pain free.  Both you & Rhonda are in our thoughts. Mrs Bonner was such a grand lady.  Although I haven't seen her or your Dad in many, many years I will always remember her smile and kindness.  A great lady who adored her kids. Dear Uncle Bill and my sisters, Angie, Jan and Rhonda, we are unified in our grief over the loss of Aunt Bernice from this place but we also stand in solidarity on the promises of the Lord that we will be together again. She was my "Little Mama" even before Mama passed. She sustained me afterwards. Mama always told me that I inherited her big sister's "tenderheartedness". She gave us all unconditional love even when we were unloveabe. Bany always sang "We'll understand it all by and by" and now Aunt Bernice, in heaven, does. She KNOWS how much we love her and she's loving us back and will intercede for us. Let's keep talking to her and loving one another. That's what she wants from us now. I thank God for all of you and all you've done for me. We are blessed to have one another.

Bill, Angela, Jan and Rhonda, Thank you for bringing Bernice into our lives.  She was a beautiful, sweet, gentle woman. Alex and I are very fortunate to have known her.  She will be greatly missed.

To my Mother, Bernice E. Bonner:  You were, and will always be, the continuous warmth in my heart and light that guides my way through life.  I miss you terribly, but know that you are in the house of our Lord and free of blindness, pain and feeble body.  Thank you for a wonderful life and your unconditional love.  We will be together again and rejoice. I love you Mama.

Bill, Jan,& Angela, Please know in this time of loss and sadness,how very much I wish you all peace and comfort.  Aunt Bernice was a true blessing to all of us. I will always remember how excited I would be to see her, from my early childhood through adulthood. She always brought a certain humorous energy I will cherish forever. As I write, tears come to my eyes, remembering her tears as we would always say good-bye until next time.  She was an aunt to be cherished and I will never forget that.  Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers and may you find comfort in your memories of this great lady. Love to All!
