Bernice LeBow was called home to be with our Lord October 05, 2021 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 93. She was born September 03, 1928 in San Antonio, TX to Frank and Elizabeth Warzecha of Yorktown/San Antonio, Texas.
Bernice, mother of five, lived a full and meaningful life. In her career, she served her country through Federal Service at Kelly Air Force Base, and retired after 30+ years as a Secretary, then Publication Editor. She was a dedicated member of St Luke Catholic Church in San Antonio for over 50 years. She loved the Lord and His Mother, always attended Mass, and never missed a family get-together. She was an active member of multiple community and church organizations. She loved to give gifts, and especially enjoyed the Holidays. She was a great listener, and always showed her care for others. She liked to play games because she liked to win. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed her birthday trips to Las Vegas with family. She will be greatly missed.
Bernice is preceded in death by her husband, Garry LeBow, sons Michael, John, and Dale LeBow, parents Frank and Elizabeth Warzecha, brother Frank Warzecha Jr, sisters Eleanor Pullin and Dorothy Buckholdt. She is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth MacDonald and husband Ernest, Sharon LeBow and husband James Baer. Five grandchildren: Tammy MacDonald, Ernie MacDonald and wife Roxann, Sandy MacDonald, Joshua Ekrut, and Angelina Ekrut. Three great-grandsons: Noah, John, and Luke MacDonald, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera road on October 14, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a rosary at 7:00 PM. The funeral procession will depart Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 12:30 PM on October 15, 2021 for a 1:00 PM funeral Mass at St Luke Catholic Church followed by a graveside farewell service at San Fernando #2.
