Bert Smith, age 85, entered into rest March 12, 2015. He was born on October 23, 1929 in Bandera, TX to Thomas & Lois Smith. He was a proud U. S. Army Veteran and a member of the Shriner’s and Masons, as well as an avid golfer. Mr. Smith was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend who will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Smith.
He is survived by his 3 children, Tommy Smith & wife Joyce, Phil Smith & wife Patricia and Tracy Smith & wife Denise; 3 grandchildren, Timothy Smith, Beau Smith and Kimberly Gonzalez; great grandson, Nathan Smith; brother, Kenneth Smith; several cousins and nephews.
Visitation will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel followed by a 3:00 p.m., Funeral Service.
A Private Burial will continue at Sunset Memorial Park.
