Betsy Campbell Sedio, age 72, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on November 14, 1950 in Steubenville, Ohio to Wanda Marie Wike and Samuel Scott Campbell. She attended the Ohio State University, where she played on the women’s tennis team, and then transferred to the University of Minnesota, where she graduated with a degree in journalism. Her first job was as a writer and editor for the Minneapolis Star and Tribune in the promotions department. Subsequently, she moved to Scientific Societies as a Marketing Manager. Betsy married Paul Sedio on January 31, 1976. During their nearly forty-seven years of marriage, they enjoyed many years of worldwide travel and raised two children, Brian and Jennifer.Betsy is survived by her husband, Paul Sedio; sister, Susan Stanich; daughter, Jennifer McBroom; son-in-law, Shaun McBroom; son, Brian Sedio; daughter-in-law, Darlene Bhavnani; granddaughter, Naya Sedio; grandson, Aidan Sedio.
