Betty Beaumont Actkinson, age 75, of San Antonio, died on Tuesday, November 26, 2002. She was a supervisor for 25 years with the San Antonio Independent School District. She served on the Board of Directors for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and authored several mathematics textbooks. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, the SAMM Shelter, Manna, 4th Street Inn, and a Sunday School teacher. Her brother, John Noah Noll, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, John W. "Dub" Actkinson; sons, John Ernest, Jerry Lee and James Noah Beaumont; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
