Betty Jo Fore Cox

Surrounded by her husband, sons and daughter, Betty lost her battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis and flew with the angel's to be with her Lord and Savior, on January 18, 2010 at age 68.

Although a 1958 graduate of Jefferson High School, she met her "Precious Ricky" at Mark Twain Jr. High and was married for 47 wonderful years.

Preceded in death by her infant daughter, Carrie Ann 1960; her beloved mother, Evelyn Johnson 2005; and her grandmother Erna Bock.

She made a tremendous impact on everyone's life, always putting others first. She loved life and loved the Lord.

Betty is survived by her wonderful husband, Richard; son, Mark Richard and wife Carol, daughter Tammy Lynn George and husband Russell, son Jeffrey Richard and wife Janet; grandchildren, Melissa Yarbrough and husband Brad, Hilary, Matthew, Ryan, Marcus, Kendall and Kamerin; great grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua, John, Brittany and Casey. She is also survived by her beloved sister Carol Marie Smith; niece, Tiffany; and nephew Trey.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
