Dear Jerry and family,
I knew Betty when she worked at University Hospital. I had started a newly created job in a new organization and needed to work with nearly every department in the organization. Betty was such a help -- always kind, helpful, encouraging and just plain nice. Just watching how she treated everyone, even when she couldn't grant their requests, taught me so much. In my eyes, she was an angel all those years ago.  I know you will miss her terribly, more than I can imagine. But she's left so much of her here with all of us -- she touched more lives than you will ever know. I pray that, as time passes, your pain will ease so that you can feel her presence with you every time you think of her.

Dear Jerry; The loss of a beloved spouse and mother of your children is one of the hardest blows life can deal one.  You have just gone thru this. Dear Jerry and family, I am sooo sorry to hear about Betty.  I only have fond memories of her while working with her at University Hospital and St. Luke's Hospital.  I liked her humor, her concern for others, and her dedication to her work.  We always had interesting conversations when the two of us would have lunch together on the weekend.  I always appreciated her invitations to either Thanksgiving or Christmas meals instead of sitting at home.  I will miss her a lot!  Take care.

Dear Jerry and family,
You are in our hearts and prayers as your lives change. We cry for the great empty space in our hearts, which is what makes us compassionate and human.  You just could not help but love Betty. That smile - she always made you feel loved and you were glad to be around her. Jerry, you and she have fought battles together, holding each other up with your faith and strong love for each other.  That type relationship is a blessed one.  
But right now, there she is in heaven with her Lord, rejoicing with a new life we can only imagine. One day.....when we next see her...we will understand that feeling of complete peace.  God bless you and keep you in His Holy Name.
