Betty Willette Keeney Hood, life long resident of San Antonio, passed away February 14, 2016. Betty was predeceased by her parents Charles Henry and Willette Woods Keeney; husband, Frank D. Hood, and infant son, Charles Steven Hood.
Betty was born October 12, 1922 and was a graduate of Brackenridge High School, San Antonio College, and the University of Texas. She married Frank on October 18, 1948. Betty had several jobs including Civil Service and USAA.
She was a loyal member of St. Chad's Anglican Church.
Betty is survived by her sons: Frank D. Hood, Jr. and wife, Sandra, and Mark A. Hood and wife, Ann Marie; grandson, Charles R. Hood and wife, Deanna; and great grandson, Kekoa Kocher-Hood.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 5pm-7pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
On Friday, February 19, 2016, at 10:30am, a Funeral Service will be held at St. Chad's Anglican Church, 11919 Orsinger followed by interment in Mission Burial Park South.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to your favorite charity or to St. Chad's Nigerian Ministry.
