Betty Mayer Maas passed away September 23, 2001, at the age of 97. She was born in Seeheim, Germany on November 26, 1903 and came to the U.S. in 1937 with her husband, Ludwig deceased and daughter. They settled in Cleveland, Ohio until 1976 when they moved to San Antonio. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Emi and Marvin Jacobs; grandchildren, Susan and David Siegel, San Antonio, Bonnie and Michael Schwartz of Glendale, AZ and Michael Jacobs of Austin, TX; great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Melody Schwartz, and Jack and Halley Siegel. The family wishes to thank everyone at Golden Manor Jewish Home for the Aged for all the wonderful care they gave to her for the past 13 1/2 years and Hospice Home Care of San Antonio.
