

Betty Jane Brown Ruffo passed from this life into the hands of the Lord and will be greatly missed by so many. She was born on March 24, 1925 in Palmer, AR, to Hugh and Bronte Brown. Betty met the love of her life, Rocco Roxy Ruffo and enjoyed a joyful and loving marriage for over 50 years. Betty was a beautiful person inside and out and was always caring and kind to everyone she came in contact with in her lifetime. She is remembered for her positive attitude, zest for life, and always had a ready smile. Betty had a passion for animals and would take in as many that needed her help and love. No one had a bigger heart than she did. Betty embraced her life with Roxy, belonging to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Christopher Columbus Society and the San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church Altar & Rosary Society. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Bernice Scheig, Julia Fuller, Virginia Parker; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sister, Patsy Winn and husband, Charlie; sons, Andrew R. Ruffo and wife, Jeanne, H., Edward Ruffo and wife, Lucille; grandchildren, Mark, Eric, Anthony, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Khrystyan and Kyler Ruffo; sister-in-law, Vencie Bordano. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
