Betty Jean Stein

Betty Jean Stein was born in San Antonio, TX on December 3, 1939 to John and Rosie (Stanush) Shodrock, and entered eternity on April 22, 2015 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 75. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Ray Stein; sisters, Dorothy N. Currier, Joanne R. Carey and brother, Donald R. Shodrock. Surviving are her children, Jeff A. Stein, Lisa A. Rohan and Greg M. Stein; grandchildren, Ashley B. Woodley and Whitney N. Goff; great-grandchildren, Mackinley B. Woodley, Judge J. Woodley and Asher J. Goff. Betty is also survived by her brothers and sisters, John S. Shodrock, Jr., Charles A. Shodrock, David F. Shodrock, Gerard T. Shodrock, Joe Shodrock, Thomas P. Shodrock, Carol M. Gawlik, Diane B. Miller and Nancy T. Shodrock, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4411 Moana, 78218, with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
