I never knew Aunt Bet to be nothing more than cheery. It was always so much fun when we got to spend a week during the summer at Momo and Popo's and get to play with Steve and Keith and sometimes Larry when he wasn't hanging out with his older friends. :-) They always lived close to Momo and Popo. Aunt Bet will live forever in my heart and one day I hope to be reunited with her in the new earth. I'm posting some pics I happen to have.

Dear Momo,
   I can't imagine life without your smiling face, joyful spirit, and beautiful personality. I never knew that last time i saw you would actually be the last time I would ever see you. The hardest part of your funeral was the pictures.They made me realize that i would not see you in my human body ever again. I wish I could have seen you one last time but you are happy now in heaven with popo, sugar, and honey. I love you....

Hey Momo,

We want you to know that we love you so much.We will miss all of our late night calls saying "we're on our way" and the mornings we shared.You would always greet us at the door with "hey guys" and waiting for those hugs.No matter when we saw you it was always with a smile and we won't forget it.You would always tell us to catch a big one and bring it home and of course we would only catch minnows and you would say "well" and just laugh.          You came in to my life when I was 14. I became your daughter-in-law when I was 19 and every year you were always there for me and like a mother to me. I will always remember the last year we spent to together reminising about your life, your loving brother and sister, and your precious boys. I will always treasure the special memories we shared. You were not only my mother-in-law, but you had become my best friend. You will always live on in my heart.

My mother and I had a very special bond. We were always together and being at her house was my home away from home. No matter what I was doing, feeling bad or well she was always right there with me to help. We had so many special memories and I will never forget not one. We helped each other relieve one anothers pain and I not only felt hers, she also felt mine. Mom meant everything to me and I know she meant everything to many others. We only had the pleasure of meeting her but the one time when we visited and
had dinner along with Steve, Sherry, Brian and Misty in her home in Canyon Lake and being total strangers, I was very impressed by the devotion she showed for people as well as for her bubbly personality.  Although we only
met the one short time, I know we will meet again and spend eternity with

"Hi, Aunt Bet, this is Rhonda - how are you doing today?" "HI, Ron (or Rhonda Cheryl), I'm doing good - how are you?" This was the start of each conversation with Aunt Bet whenever I'd call her. Invariably, we'd talk about Air Potato plants; I'm sure that everyone is familiar with how much she loved them & how she always had such a hard time getting them to grow because of the deer. Last year, however, she succeeded. Maybe it was because of the fence that Keith so lovingly built for her; or because the deer found other plants, elsewhere. Regardless, she was so happy & so proud that she finally got to see them grow so beautifully. I was very happy for her, too.  What a wonderful, sweet person you are, Aunt Bet. What beautiful memories we made when we all got together! No others could have had as wonderful a childhood as all of us cousins. We are so blessed to have had you for our Mother, Aunt, Cousin, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother. You will forever be in my heart. "I love you, Aunt Bet; I'll talk with you soon."

AUNT BET,  SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HER FACE, SHE WAS THERE FOR ME WHEN MOM PASSED AWAY.  I DONT THINK I COULD HAVE MADE IT THRU WITHOUT HER SHOULDER.  GOD IS GETTING ANOTHER SPECIAL LADY.  GROWING UP I HAVE SO MANY HAPPY MEMORIES ABOUT HER.  SHE IS THE ONLY PERSON THAT COULD GET BY WITH CALLING ME "SHEILA MARIE"   I WILL MISS HER EVERY DAY.  THANK YOU AUNT BET FOR JUST BEING YOU. Betty was "Aunt Betty " to me but she was really my cousin on my Mother's side of the Family, Ester Martin Wells. She was a favorite that is for sure. I have very fond memories of being with her and her Family from a very early age. She was always happy and laughing, always had a smile on her face and something sweet to say. She will be missed dearly. No more pain for Betty. Rest in Peace Betty.
