She attended Pepperdine University in California and worked briefly in the medical field. She was a member of the Sunset Ridge Church of Christ for nearly forty years. Her love of God was the guiding force in her life. She demonstrated this in her relationships with her family and all those whose lives she touched. Her reassuring smile and selfless nature will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by son, Craig McGrew and wife, Janice of Lake Travis, Texas; daughter, Nancy Hazelwood and husband, Jerry Hazelwood of Catonsville, Maryland; son, Doug McGrew and wife, Cyndy of Alexandria, Virginia and granddaughter, Hilry Hazelwood of Brooklyn, New York.
A memorial service was held Monday, January 19, 2015 at Sunset Ridge Church of Christ.
