He was born on March 20, 1925 to Bibiano Nunez and Hermergilda Prieto Nunez in Ruidosa, TX.
Bibian was a longtime resident of Marfa, TX before moving to San Antonio. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sara Nunez.
Bibian is survived by his sons, Hector Nunez and wife, Delia, Ed Nunez and wife, Sylvia and Claudio Nunez and Margaret Harris, and Bibi Nunez and wife, Betty; brother, Raul Nunez; sisters, Esperanza Nunez Smith and Consuelo Ortega; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on day Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 pm at Porter Loring Mortuary on McCullough.
