

Known to his family as Daddy, Dad, Papa, or Whiskers, he will be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing, and Mama's "Hon fried chicken".
An army veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict, Bill received a battle field commission during WWII in the Philippines. After retiring from USAA, he enjoyed many years of travel - all fifty states and many foreign countries.
Bill was a Mason for over 50 years, and was an Elder and teacher in the Christian Church for many years. He and Chubby were avid square dancers, bridge players, and were active with many travel clubs.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Annetta and Darrell Scott; daughter and companion, Pam Mallow and Mike Hagan; granddaughters, Destiny Prince and husband, Carl; and Rosie Scott; great grandchildren, Emmalee and Carl, Jr., special great grandson, James Ratka; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to Vitas Hospice and especially Vitas Hospice Inpatient Unit.
