Frank was employed by Relmco of Hondo, TX. Throughout his career, Frank paved half of Texas as a construction contractor.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rhonda N. Nelson; his father, John S. Wood; and his daughter, Sherri Lee Tissing.
Frank is survived by his companion of eleven years, Ruth Maxey; the mother of his children, Marianne Wood of Austin, TX; his sons, Billy Frank Wood, Jr. and his wife, Rue of Ottumwa, IA and Dale Wood and his wife, Allison of Costa Rica; his grandchildren, Range Jay Tissing, Denise Wood and Sam Wood.
