Blyth was born in Amityville, Long Island, where she resided until 1946. The Air Force brought her parents and herself to San Antonio.
She was a graduate of Brackenridge High School Class of 1948 and attended Business College thereafter.
Blyth was married in 1952 and ten years later gave birth to her only child, Stacy.
She went to work at TxDoT where she retired after 23 years of service.
Blyth was well known by all her many friends for her keen sense of humor and her fun-loving personality. She enjoyed taking her family back home to New York to see the shows and visiting old friends.
She was known to her two grandchildren, Molly and Morgan as "Gooma". Her last few years were spent enjoying the times with her family and spoiling her Westie, Max.
Blyth is survived by her daughter, Stacy; her son-in-law, Steve Baker; her two grandchildren, Molly and Morgan; and honorary sister, Betty Herndon.
