Bobbie Jo Hayden

Bobbie Jo Hayden, 86, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in Garden Ridge, Texas. She was born on October 10, 1935 in Yoakum, Texas to Margaret Pauline Willis Spies and John Herbert Spies. Bobbie was married to Joseph Hayden in 1956, and was soon stationed with him overseas with multiple moves over the years during his military career. Their last assignment was San Antonio which became their home in the late 60s. She worked as an administrative secretary during her civil service career, and was the Registrar for the School of Aerospace Medicine at the time of her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and neighbors, and always valued the time she spent with them. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 61 years. Bobbie Jo is survived by her daughter, Allison Hayden; son, Craig Hayden and his wife Cindy; grandsons Logan and Landon Hayden and Landons fianc Kaley Koziel. She also leaves behind her little dog Shelli, and "granddog" Bella.

Pastor Tucker will officiate. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Mauseluem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital, the Animal Defense League, or the chariable organization of your choice.
