Bobbie J. Meadows

Surrounded by love and family, she went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 4, 2007.

She was born Bobbie Jean Bills on July 21, 1921 in Hubbard, Texas to Lewis Powell Bills and Roxie Austin Bills.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, James "Jim" Albert Meadows, Jr. They had spent 50 wonderful years together beginning March 13, 1940, in Dallas, Texas, where they both grew up and met.

She is survived by their four children Robert Stephen Meadows and wife Joyce of Los Angeles, California, J. Michael Meadows of Phoenix, Arizona, Patrick Alan Meadows of Doha, Qatar, and Lorri Anne Meadows Bowers and husband Ewell of San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by their five grandchildren Robert Stephen Meadows II and wife Angela of Santa Monica, California, Kristin Kay Meadows MacMane and husband Troy of Houston, Texas, Courtney Anne Meadows of Austin, Texas, Kyle James Bowers of San Antonio, Texas, and Cade Matthew Bowers of San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by their five great grandchildren Nathaniel Lawrence Meadows of Santa Monica, California, Meghan Nicole Jett Meadows of Santa Monica, California, Martha Kendall MacMane of Houston, Texas, Lillian Millay MacMane of Houston, Texas, and Merrilee Anne MacMane of Houston, Texas.

Bobbie was a devoted Christian daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Bobbie will be greatly missed!
