Bonita Kay McKisson

Bonita graduated from Grover High School in Oklahoma and was later united in marriage to Craig McKisson from the Canyon/Amarillo, Texas area. They later relocated to San Antonio, Texas. Bonita spent 25 years working at Frost Bank, starting as a teller. She was retired at the time of her passing. In her spare time she enjoyed time with her dogs, gardening, appreciating birds, and spending time with her family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her two children, Stephanie McKisson and husband Santiago Martinez of San Antonio, and Shawn McKisson of Austin; three grandchildren, Alex Gonzales, Issac Gonzales, and Kara Corona; a great grandchild, Jalen Baca; and three brothers, Albert Yanke, Vernon Yanke, and Clarence Yanke.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Yanke, her mother Hannah Yanke, and husband, Craig McKisson.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18 at Sunset Funeral Home with a Chapel service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
