Bonnie was born on November 27, 1931, in Ida, Louisiana to John and Fannie Martin Williams, and graduated from Fair Park High School in Shreveport, LA in 1949. Bonnie and her husband, Frank, moved to San Antonio in 1958, where she assisted in running her husband's veterinary practice. She operated an ice cream parlor in Alamo Heights on Broadway in the 1970's; and was a long time member of the San Antonio Gun Club. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, reading, fishing, arrowhead hunting, wing shooting, and was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Dr. Frank M. Roach, Jr., and is survived by her sisters, Gloria Jones and Betty Sue Cobb; children, Frank III and wife Callise and Sara J. Roach; grandchildren, Taylor and husband Chad, Cole, and Caleb Roach and wife Nita; and a great-granddaughter, Vivian.
