It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brady Harris, our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, teammate, and friend. Brady left us far too soon, but his spirit, humor, and the joy he brought to those around him will be cherished forever.
Brady was a rising senior at Pieper High School, where he was a proud and dedicated member of the Pieper High School Varsity Swim Team for the past 3 years. His passion for swimming extended beyond school, as he also competed with the Alamo Area Aquatics Association swim team. In the pool, Brady was known for his work ethic, team spirit, and ability to make every practice, bus ride, and swim meet fun — always pushing himself and encouraging those around him.
Outside the water, Brady was known for his sharp wit, infectious sense of humor, and a gift for making everyone around him laugh. He had an easy way with people, building lasting friendships and bringing light into every room he entered. Whether it was a swim practice, late-night gaming session, hanging out with his closest friends, or simply showing up with a stash of candy, Brady made EVERY moment count.
Brady is survived by his loving parents, Claude and Tiffany Harris; his devoted brother, Owen Harris; grandparents Ken and Doris Merhar; and aunts and uncles Joe and Barbara Peraino, and Elaine and Ed Malkamaki. He will be deeply missed by his cousins Cameron Fernald (Scott), Jacob Malkamaki, Nick Peraino (Alicia), and Anna Peraino (Willys) along with many friends, teammates, and coaches who were touched by his kindness and humor.
Brady will be remembered for his deep love of his friends, his ability to make people laugh, his unwavering dedication as a teammate, and yes — his sweet tooth. He always seemed to know where the candy was, and somehow, that simple joy reflected the kind of person he was: thoughtful, playful, and always present.
In honoring Brady, we remember a young man who brought immense joy into our lives and whose legacy of laughter, friendship, and love will never be forgotten.
A gathering of family & friends for Brady will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with celebration of life starting at 11:00 am and reception to follow at Cornerstone Church, 18755 Stone Oak Parkway, San Antonio, Texas 78258.
