Brandy B Weaver, age 40, of San Antonio, Texas was welcomed into heaven with our Lord and Savior on July 10, 2022. Brandy was born in Anaheim, California on September 21, 1981, but got to Texas as fast as she could.
She was the daughter of William "Bill" Howell and Bunny (Russell) Barrick; the loving wife to Paul Weaver; and the proud mommy of Whitney and William, whom she loved with her whole being. Brandy would say her biggest accomplishment in life was her children.
Brandy had a huge capacity to love. Her priorities were family, friends, teaching/counseling students, and the Dallas Cowboys, and not always in that order! She was a fan of celebrating big and small accomplishments, especially if they were yours. She was a lover of people and collected friends of all shapes, and sizes, literally everywhere she went. A few may have been lost along the way, but most of them had a permanent place in her ever-expanding circle of friends.
Her professional career started in Corporate America, but she eventually earned her teaching certification, then soon after gained a Masters in Education in School Counseling. A natural leader with a huge heart, she found her true calling in the field of public education helping others reach their full potential and overcoming obstacles that might derail a dream. Whether teaching, even coaching at one point, or most recently as a high school counselor, she made a tremendous impact at each of her schools she worked at in her career. This came very easy to her. In her most recent position, she was a respected faculty member at Johnson High School, inspiring a loyal support team of fellow teachers and counselors who would see her through her final days.
Brandy proved to be as tough as any warrior, while having an infectious personality, a beautiful smile and a wonderful laugh. She was beautiful inside and out and will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
The family would like to thank all her friends, caregivers, family, and so many others, who offered help, love and support throughout her courageous battle with breast cancer.
Brandy was preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Howell, her maternal grandparents Donald and Betty Parks; and her paternal grandparents Jack and Alma Howell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 31 from 5:15-8:30 PM at Porter Loring North, 2102 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, Tx 78232. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Community Bible Church, 2477 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, Tx 78232.
