Brenda Beebe-McWhirter

Brenda Beebe-McWhirter, age 48, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas with her family by her side. She was born January 18, 1973 in Okinawa, Japan to Esther (Gloria) Dixson and Troy Dixson.

Brenda was a loving mother who enjoyed movies with her girls and lots of popcorn. At home you could find her in the garden showing the girls how to plant everything from Black Eyed Susans to Elephant ears.

Weekends were spent at the bookstore or on long country drives to Gruene or Fredericksburg. She loved her morning coffee on the couch with a romance book on early Saturday mornings while she waited for the girls to wake up. She was a devoted mother above all else.

Brenda graduated from UTSA with a B.S. in Biology and later got her R.N. Most recently she was working on her Masters degree.

She was a cardiac rehab nurse and NE Baptist hospital who made such tremendous loving bonds with her co-workers and patients she worked with and around. Her friends, Nurses and Drs, were always spoken of in high regard by Brenda, she truly loved them all. Her heart was always on the job as she never missed a call and was always willing to talk to them at any hour regardless of what she was doing.

Brenda is survived by her parents, Troy and Esther; daughters, Lauren, Katherine, and Julianna; husband, Jeffrey McWhirter; as well as numerous extended family members and a lifetime of friends. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
