It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Sue Demeter Briseño on June 30, 2026, at her home in Arlington, Texas. Her generous spirit and infectious laugh touched countless lives.
Brenda was born December 15, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas, to Bobbie and Paul Demeter. She is preceded in death by her parents.
She married Cesar Briseño on October 5, 1974, and shared fifty-one years of love and devotion.
Brenda worked for many years in the insurance industry before retiring in 2025.
She is survived by her husband, Cesar; brother, Carroll Putnam and wife, Gale; sister, Phyllis Stuard and husband, Jerry. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held July 14, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX. Visitation will be at 11:00 AM, service at 12:00 PM, followed by burial at 1:30 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery – Shelter 3.
