

He started life with pneumonia when he was only 6 months old, then died at age 45 with pneumonia. A lot of living went on between those dates. His love was fishing, he enjoyed going, and taking those who would not have had the chance to go unless he took them, Brian enjoyed teaching kids how to fish. He worked at the Canyon Lake Methodist Church with the sound system. Most of his life was in central Texas with a short jaunt to North Carolina (Kindergarden Years), and California (High School Years) He took a wrong turn in life and ended up with Hepatitis C. Learned his lesson, and spent the rest of his life talking to kids telling them to stop and stay away from drugs. He made a difference with his life, that is the goal God gives us. He will be missed by all his friends and family. Brian was born in Jackson, Michigan, and died in San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his parents, Edward L. Hoops, and Shirley F. Hoops, his sister Leslie Hoops-Wallace, John D. Wallace, his nephews Austin Wallace, and Troy Wallace, cousins, Twyla McNeeley, Debbie Watson, Chad Watson, Taylor Watson, Tammy and Kay Sprouse, Carl Swift, Driscal Dicus. His Aunt Anne Sprouse, Dot Hoops, and Jenny Dicus his Uncles George Dicus and Robin Hoops.
