Brian Ivey was born June 11, 1962 in Buffalo, NY to the late Odell and Catherine Ivey. Brian was the youngest of all his siblings.
Brian graduated from Lafayette High School in 1980. He joined the United States Air Force immediately after graduation. Brian met and married Melinda Tranilla on May 24, 1984. In this union two children were born. The couple moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1992, where Brian was stationed and remained in the Air Force for a total of 13 years.
Brian was a fun loving and easy-going person who enjoyed life until his passing after suffering a long illness. Brian departed this life in the early morning hours of February 8, 2020 in the VA Hospital.
Brian leaves to cherish his memory two children, Brian Jr. and Mylinda; two brothers, Odell and Barry Ivey; two sisters, Beverly P. Coleman (Joseph) and Mercidene Jones; four nieces; two nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
