Brian spent 40 years working at KENS-TV in San Antonio, where he built a career marked by dedication and hard work. When Brian worked, he worked hard, and when he played, he played just as hard.
Brian was a kind and generous person who was always willing to help. He had a gift for fixing things and could seemingly repair almost anything—from a computer to a dishwasher. He was the person people could count on when something needed to be figured out.
He loved tradition and routine and found joy in the familiar rhythms of life. Brian loved music and movies, and he had an extraordinary knowledge of film. He could remember actors, characters, scenes, and details with remarkable accuracy, often recalling things that most people would never remember. He was very witty, and his quick wit often brought laughter to those around him. Music was also an important part of his life, and he was a talented guitar player who could play by ear. He loved football, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns, and he enjoyed the traditions and routines that made life familiar and meaningful to him.
Brian and his wife, Sheri, shared 35 years of marriage. He never forgot an anniversary, her birthday, or Mother’s Day. He remembered each one and made sure to honor her. His thoughtfulness and devotion were a quiet but enduring expression of the love he carried for his wife.
Above all, Brian loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Sheri; his daughters, Hannah and Hayley; his daughter-in-law, Sara; and his beloved dog, Max. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister.
Brian will be remembered for his kindness, his willingness to help others, his ability to fix almost anything, his love of family and tradition, and the way he lived his life fully.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Porter Loring Mortuary North. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
