Bryan Reed Newbold

Bryan Reed Newbold, age 52, passed away December 10, 2017, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born December 13, 1964, in Van Nuys, California, to the late William Stewart Sr. and Darlene Casper Newbold. Bryan was raised in California until the age of 23 before moving to San Antonio in 1988, to help begin a successful family business. However, of all the accomplishments in his life, his greatest was his generosity and giving nature he showed to many in his life. He was a loving brother, son, and friend to many throughout his life. He loved spending time with his family and his godson, Sebastian Flores, and niece, Brianna Hernandez, and was very talented in the culinary arts to which he shared on special occasions to everyone's delight. He loved the Christmas season and was a devoted member of the LDS church. Bryan is survived by his siblings, William Stewart Newbold, Jr. , Brent Newbold, Sharlene Thum, Denise Newbold-Aly, Stephanie Hamburg, Kent Newbold, and Melanie Stockle; and his 17 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends for visitation at Sunset Funeral Home for visitation on Friday, December, 15, 2017 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in Sunset Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 3:00 pm., with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
