He was born December 19, 1927, in McAllen, Texas, to the late Owen and Jimmie Mohler Pearson.
Buel served his country in the US Navy during WWII, Korea and at home until retiring as a CWO4, after 39 years of dedicated service.
As a lifelong accountant, he established his own CPA firm of 40 years.
A natural outdoorsman and sportsman, Buel enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, tennis and woodcarving.
He was an active member of Shearer Baptist Church for many years.
Buel was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his son, Edgar Pearson; grandson, James Michael Fendley; and brother, Jim Owen Pearson.
Buel is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Deloris Riley Pearson; daughter, Patricia June Fendley and husband, Mike; son, Thomas Ray Pearson and wife, Connie; son, Jace Edward Pearson and wife, Donna; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
