He was born February 21, 1945, in Riverhead, New York to Chester and Dorothy McBride.
He is survived by his wife, Paula McBride; daughter, Kimberly Kolette McBride Claxton and husband Jeff; sons, Stuart Blayre McBride and wife Bridgette, Kirk Dunn McBride and wife Sandy; and grandson, Ryan Claxton.
