C. Bruce Nichols

C. Bruce Nichols Jr. was born on February 14, 1951 in Lubbock, Texas, and passed away at the age of 62 on July 12, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. He was a loving husband to Paula Nichols, and incredible dad to Cara and Emily Nichols. Bruce was also a cherished brother and son. Bruce is preceded in death by his father, Carroll Bruce Nichols Sr. He is survived by his wife, Paula Nichols; daughters, Cara Nichols and Emily Nichols; his brothers, Mike Nichols and Tony Nichols; his sister, Beverly Nichols; his mother, Geraldine Cooper and stepfather, Coy Cooper. He is also survived by his dog, Lucy. Bruce was an avid moviegoer and loved to spend his Sundays at the movie theater. For the past 31 years he was part of a hunting group that got together for their annual hunting trip. He loved growing tomatoes and peppers in the backyard and making his world-famous salsa. He especially loved spending time at home with his family. Bruce was a very special man who was a part of many lives. He will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Porter Loring North Chapel.
