Candelaria S. Hopper

Candelaria S. Hopper, lovingly known as “Candy,” entered eternal rest on August 19,2017 at the age of 85. Born in Clifton,AZ on February 7,1932 to Arcadio and Diega Sandoval; she now reunites with her parents and beloved brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children: Bennie Jr.(Kathy), Brenda(Ricky) Porter, Bethinda, Barry, Beverly (Richard) Campa, Brigitte, Bernice(Joe) Improta; grandchildren: Bennie III, Vanessa, Jessica, Richie, Ethan, Rylee, Joey; great-grandchild Cameron; father of her children, Bennie Sr.; and numerous other relatives. Candy was a #1 Spurs fan that never missed games and an avid Yankees fan. She was a talented cake decorator and generously made her children’s wedding and birthday cakes as well as many other occasions. Her love and presence will be missed greatly, but there is peace knowing she is in the arms of our Heavenly father. The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff at St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital for the care provided.
