Candelaria M. Teveni

Candelaria M. Teveni, who loved to be called Tita by her grandchildren, departed her loving family on Jan. 28, 2022. She was born Dec. 13, 1929 in Boldtville, TX to Paulina and Paulino Maldonado and was one of ten children. Candelaria was a dedicated loving wife and mother. She took much pleasure in family, sewing, and gardening. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church Guadalupana group for many years. Candelaria was devoted to praying for others. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband Salvador M. Teveni, several brothers, sisters, brothers in law and sisters in law. Candelaria is survived by her children Ramon M. Teveni (Bernadette) and Mary Alice Ayon (David), grandchildren; David (Sarah), Marisa (Chris), and Abby, great grandchildren; Eva, Ophelia, Solomon, and Sabrina, Brother; Paulino Maldonado (Mary Esther), and many nephews and nieces. Candelarias calming spirit touched many lives and she will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 8, 2022 at Porter Loring Mortuary. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wed., Feb. 9, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2114 W. Houston St. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
