Carl Dean Hickey of Jourdanton, Texas passed away on January 19, 2017 at the age of 81. He was born in Alma, Arkansas on September 23, 1935 to Ralph Hickey and Melba Suggs. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Hickey was a preservationist for the U.S. Government for many years. He is survived by his wife, Lydia P. Hickey, his children Carla K. Jones (Jargo), Jonell McLaughlin and Randy Dean Hickey. Carl is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 24, 2017. Chapel Service will be Wednesday January 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
