Carl Dan Howard, Jr.

Carl Dan Howard, age 80, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. Carl was born June 1, 1943 in Cape Girardeau to Ruth Esther Moser and Carl D. Howard Sr. He graduated from the University of Missouri. He was a member at Parkhills Baptist Church.

Carl Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and beach vacations. He loved spending time and making memories with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Carol Sue Preuss, Betty Jo Roppel, and Bernice Ham. Carl is survived by his lovely wife, Patricia L. Howard; children, Stephen D. Howard, Julie L. Howard, Melisa R. Howard, and Scott L. Strickland; grandchildren, Kristin Howard and Kaiden & Kyndall Strickland; and sister, Mary Hoxworth.
