Carl A. "Tony" Seta

Carl Anthony “Tony” Seta, age 66, of San Antonio, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Tony graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1974. While attending Lee he was on the Swim team and a member of the DECA Club. Since graduation Tony enjoyed meeting his classmates for reunions and was an important asset with the organizers of these reunions. He was a proud member of the Woodlawn Sailing Club for 55 years, San Antonio Hobie Cat Fleet 128 for 42 years, and San Antonio Whitecaps Windsurfing Club for 15 years. Tony loved sailing at Canyon Lake and Woodlawn Lake; cooking at sailing regattas; and slot cars racing. He was a school bus driver during school semesters and enjoyed his side summer job power washing for businesses. Tony also enjoyed supporting the Boy Scouts of America and his nephew Joshua, watching him go through the ranks and achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. He had two rescue dogs, Jake and Calli, they were his home companions. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl R. Seta and Lucy C. Seta; and beloved dog, Calli. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle E. Seta; brother, Ray E. Seta (Sylvia A. Dimayuga); nephew, Joshua Ray Seta; numerous cousins and extended family in California and Texas; and his beloved German Shepherd, Jake. Visitation will be Thursday, September 2, 2021, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
