

Carlos Cazares, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at age 82. He was born in 1935 in San Antonio, and graduated from Central Catholic High School, class of 1954.
He married Christina Hayes in England on November 7, 1958. They moved back to the U.S. and raised their three children. Christina passed on March 3, 1997. Carlos was blessed to meet his second wife, Carolyn Eastman and they married in 1999.
He retired from the FAA at the age 64.
Carlos lived a full and active life, and enjoyed golf, fishing and bowling. He was a marshal at the Bandit Golf Course in New Braunfels until his death. He loved to laugh and everyone who heard his hearty laughter could not help but join in.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pauline and Clemente Cazares; step-father, Joe Campos; and his wife, mother of his children, Christina Hayes Cazares who was called by God to heaven exactly 20 years earlier almost to the day.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Eastman Cazares; his sister, Sylvia Cazares; his children, Paul and his wife Michele, Anthony and his wife Sherri; and Angela, along with her husband David; his grandchildren, Anthony and his wife Laurelyn, Tommy, Kevin, Jimmy, Brandi and her husband Michael, Patrick, Shannon, Meaghan and her husband Blaise, Ryann, Chelsea, and Julie Anne; and great-grandchildren, Kaila, Brendan, Owen, John Paul, Annabelle, Teresa, and one more on the way.
He was loved by all, forgotten by none and will be dearly missed.
