He was born on March 12, 1979 in Fort Sill, Lawton, Oklahoma.
Carlos loved God. As a devout Christian, he loved to praise and worship. When he was at family gatherings, he enjoyed arm wrestling and dancing with family members. His favorite movies were Rocky, Karate Kid, Over the Top and Howard the Duck. He loved to eat out and three of his favorite meals were enchiladas, burgers and chopped barbeque sandwiches, which he called his two BUMS. He was witty, charming and loved to make people laugh and he was quite the jokester. He was the happiest when he was around his family. His presence left so much joy and love to everyone that crossed his path.
Carlos is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ernest and Pauline Ortiz; paternal grandparents, Carlos Sr. and Mary Ann Dominguez.
He is survived by his loving parents, Carlos Jr. and Yolanda Dominguez; siblings, Mark Ortiz (Vanessa), Eric Dominguez (Jackie) and Debra Dominguez; aunts and uncles, George and Becky Chavez, Ken and Jo Ann Garratt, Betty Manzello, Paul and Jane Villapando, Rene and Christine Guzman, Ernest Ortiz, Richard and Mary Ann Dominguez, Jesse and Leticia Huerta and numerous cousins; nieces and nephews, Timothy, Dahlia, Isaiah, Alexis, Alysa, Jianna, Destiny, Chastity and Felicity; also, several great nieces and great nephews.
The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.
The Service will be conducted at 9:45 a.m., Wednesday, October 28, 2026 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
