Carlos Silva Sanchez, Jr.

In loving memory of our brother, Carlos (Papi) Silva Sanchez, Jr. born on October 3, 1948 went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on May 7, 2012 at the age of 63. Mr. Sanchez graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1968. He proudly served in the United Sates Marine Corp from 1968-1970 during the Vietnam War. He retired in 2007 after 31 years of service in the U. S. Postal Department in Los Angeles, California. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carlos, Sr. and Palmira Sanchez. He is survived by his son, Rene Sanchez; daughter, Janell Sanchez; sisters, Yolanda Gonzalez and Cathy (Roy) Mora brothers, Rudy (Anna) Sanchez, George (Norma) Sanchez, Jerry (Lucy) Sanchez, and Larry (Blanche) Sanchez; half brother, Richard Silva; also, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a Rosary to recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral service will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. We will miss you and never forget you. You were taken from us too soon. You are now resting in Mom’s arms. Give her a big hug and kiss from us. We love you.
