Carmen Gonzales passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was deeply loved by her family and all who knew her, and her passing leaves a space that can never be filled.
Carmen was one of ten children and was a devoted and loving member of her family. She is survived by her children, Julie Moczygemba and Gordon Johnson; her son-in-law, Curtis Moczygemba; and her daughter-in-law, Anne Johnson. She was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren, including Ashly Castro, Jacob Medina, Lucy Moczygemba, Josie, Jesse, Gordon Jr. Johnson, Julianna, Joseph Castro, Sophia Delgado, Tahani Alambar, Auriya Medina, and Audreyna Medina.
Carmen found great joy in the simple things in life. She loved making crafts, baking, cooking for family gatherings, and, most of all, spending time with the people she loved. Her home and her kitchen were often places where family gathered, shared meals, laughter, stories, and precious memories.
Carmen's love for her family was evident in everything she did. She gave generously of her time, her heart, and her talents. Her kindness, warmth, and loving spirit touched everyone around her.
Though she is no longer with us, Carmen's memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all of the family and friends who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Rest peacefully, Carmen. Your love will remain in our hearts forever. :::
