Mom, Miss you lots! Thank you for always pushing me to do more for myself. I owe all my success to you and your believing for me. You were always there for me. You taught me well. Mom, was a wonderful, caring, loving person, grandmother and great-grandmother, a very spiritual and wize woman of God. Strong, yet soft, fearless and courageous. She always told me I could be more than where I saw myself. She helped me to believe that I could do anything I set my mind to. She expected me to do well. She was there for me throughout my schooling at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, my 20 years in the Army, and now in business. She was my best friend, my rock, my coach, my drill sergeant; who loved to give blessings. She was a very open and giving person. Ephesians 3:20, 21 reminds me of her: Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. 

Mom, please know that you live on in my memories, my life, my kids, and until I see you again at The Gathering Together of the Church, thank you for all that you gave me. You taught me well. I love God because of you. I can't wait to see you receive your Crowns of Glory at the Bema. I love you so very much. Bye Momma.

Grandma Balderas you will be truly missed. We love you and we know that you have gone to a better place. You will always remain in our hearts.

We love you Grandma & you will be missed. You are in a better place now. I am sorry I wasn't able to attend, but I will visit you from time to time. I also know you will look over Grandpa from time to ime as well. We love you.

My Mom was Special to Me Although she never worked outside our home, she had plenty of work with eight of us to prepare us for life. She made sure we all finished school; by helping us with our homework or participating in other school activities and projects. Whether it was helping me with my math homework, using flash cards, or making igloos from sugar cubes, she was always there for me. I also remember her as a wife and a beautiful woman: 
She and my Dad would go to dance clubs and come home with trophies, I would be so proud. She along with my Dad dressed to the nines, Dad in his tailored double breasted suits and Mom in beautiful dresses. Dresses with flowers, boas, or a stylish cut. When she was young she loved to dance. From her I learned to be competitive. And also my interest and love for fashion, dance and music came from her. She was so beautiful. She was like a movie star to me. I?ll always remember her that way. She was an excellent cook; better than Martha or Rachel Ray. She was also the disciplinarian and at times could also swing a mean broom. I loved her for her compassion and caring heart. She was sweet, kind and strong, my mother was a well rounded person and all of these qualities made me the person I am today. Yes, My Mother was Special to Me.

I start to cry.I remember when we would be together and talk for hours you,dad and I and just talk about everything and nothing it brings a smile to my face and then the tears just flow so freely down my face. Momma, my heart is heavy with sorrow. I wake up in the morning and know I will never be able to speak to you again and I start to cry. We had so much fun together you dad and I.
