Carmen Guerra Contreras went to be with the Lord, June 25, 2014. Mrs. Contreras is preceded in death by her brothers Julio Guerra, Arturo Guerra; sisters Angie Guerra and Ruth Guerra. She is survived by her companion Arturo Gallegos; sons Guadalupe Contreras (Alice), Charles Contreras (Patricia), Robert Contreras (Tina), Julian Puente; brothers and sisters Gloria Rodriguez (Louis), Gabriel Guerra (Maria ), Alicia Guerra, Olga Guerra, Raul Guerra (Lydia), Maria Elena Casa, Richard Guerra and 11 grandchildren. A visitation will begin, Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A procession will depart the funeral home, Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery #2.
