Affectionately known as “Mamita” and “Tita,” Carmen was the heart of her family. A gifted cook, she poured her love into every meal, especially her Sunday dinners and her famous holiday tamales, which became cherished family traditions. Her home was often filled with the comforting aroma of home-cooked meals and the joyful sound of music. She had a deep love for singing and could frequently be heard enjoying her favorite classic rock and ranchera songs, bringing warmth and happiness to those around her.
Carmen was a longtime member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, where she faithfully served in the Guadalupanos Society and the Spanish choir. Her faith guided her, sustained her, and shaped the generous spirit she shared with all who knew her.
Her legacy of love, strength, kindness, and faith will continue to live on in the many lives she touched.
