Carmen N. Gaitan born on April 5, 1925 in Converse, TX went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2012 at the age of 87 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Gaitan; son, Enrique N. Gaitan and daughter, Mary G. Keating. Mrs. Gaitan is survived by her daughters and sons, Patsy G. Elsberry (Wayne), Frank I. Gaitan (Mary), Alex Gaitan (Irene), David Gaitan (Belinda), Paul Gaitan (Jo Ann), and Carmen Sampson (Bruce); daughter-in-law, Susie Gaitan; brother, Rosalio Nacian ceno; also 25 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren,1 great great granddaughter, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday August 27, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday August 28, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. A Procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday August 29, 2012 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 150 Camino Santa Maria. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
