Carmen worked hard in everything she set her mind to, and she was always so proud of all her accomplishments. After completing high school, Carmen earned her nursing degree in 1958 and successfully became a Registered Nurse. She began her nursing career at the NIX Hospital in downtown San Antonio soon after. Carmen enjoyed her nursing career and had a passion for helping others. Carmen continued her nursing career for years until she decided to dedicate her time to her children and family. Carmen was fortunate enough to have traveled and lived overseas for years with her military family. Carmen was the best Mother, Grandmother, cook, gift wrapper, friend and over all girly girl you would ever meet. Her laugh would make anyone laugh with her and her hugs would make any day better.
