Carmen Chavarria Ramon, born in San Antonio, Texas on December 4, 1938 was called home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2014 at her home in Poteet, Texas at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emilio & Concepcion Chavarria, brother, Joe Chavarria and sister, Dolores Duenez. Carmen is survived by her loving husband, of 55 years of marriage, Felix Ramon, her beloved children; Felix Ramon Jr. (Diana), Diana Elizondo, Steve Ramon (Sandra), Jimmy Ramon, siblings; Mary De Leon, Mary Lou Wheeler, Juan Chavarria, Francisco Chavarria, 9 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road, with a Prayer Service to be recited at 7:00 p.m that same evening. A procession will depart the funeral home on Thursday, December 11, 2014 after a 10:00 a.m Chapel Service with Interment to follow at First Memorial Burial Park.
