Carol Dawn Crossland

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Carol Dawn Spanley Crossland on October 5, 2026, at the age of 60. She was born May 27, 1966, in Orange, Texas to Virginia and Robert Spanley. She graduated from Judson High School, Class of 1985.

Carol is preceded in death by her sons, James Zachary Crossland and Robert Hunter Crossland, her parents, and her brother, Robert Brian Spanley.

Carol will be lovingly remembered by her son, Tyler Crossland, and his wife, Brianna Crossland; daughter Kimberly Crossland; their father, Barry Crossland; grandchildren, Karter and Deacon; her brother, Kevin Spanley; and many other family and friends who cherished her.

Carol was fiercely loyal to those she loved. She had a generous heart and was the kind of person that was always there when someone needed her. She found joy at the beach, lake, or pool, or watching Texas Longhorn Football. Carol was deeply loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 N. Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, Texas 78232 on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 1:00 PM.

There will be a private visitation for close family at noon. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
